It’s been a while since I’ve written anything to you guys, and there’s a lot going on that I haven’t blogged about – not because I don’t want to, but because I just haven’t had much time or energy.
The short list:
My wife and I are going to try and adopt 4 kids (all siblings). They’re already starting to work their way into my heart. In lieu of us getting them, we’re going to be moving to a slightly larger house, but it’s going to be back over in Quitman. *GRRRR* Ah well, do what ya have to until you can do something better, eh? The good news is, the house in Quitman isn’t going to cost us an arm and a leg in rent (THANKS DAD, YOU ROCK!), so hopefully we can save up a bit of money for a downpayment on an actual house (and not one with wheels!) later.
I quit working at Roadway. Finally got a job working in my field! The pay isn’t completely ‘Awesome’ *laughs, that one’s for you Rae* but it is somewhat comparable to what I was making before. I am, however, working more hours, but I have the evenings off and that’s pretty good. So now it’s official, I’m a network tech!
Cool Blue Reason – if you’re reading this, I don’t think that we’re gonna make it to SS this month, too much going on and too strapped for cash right now. I’m gonna try and get hold of you and let you know via yahell, but I figured you might actually be one of the two or three that check this place on occasion.
Well, I’ve gotta jam and get something to eat and head to work. I hope to, as I get more of a rhythm down, be around more (my online presence has suffered lately). I hope to be back here (relatively) soon.
PS: Apparently I’m feeling pretty parenthetical today. Odd. Anyways, later.
