Spleen!

Posted by Swift

Okay, it’s later.

As promised I’m back, with more spleen to vent. Okay. so the test was laminated to his desk. Taken care of. That issue is in the past.

Now?

Well, let’s turn our eyes to the future. A not so distant future, in a neighborhood not so far away. Picture it. It’s saturday morning, July 19th, 8:30 am EST, in the year of our lord two thousand and three. Where is Jamie at? Is he on a boat in the middle of the carribean, soaking up the early morning rays before slipping below decks to sip on a mai-tai and play bury the tubesnake with a beautiful asian cabingirl? Nope. Is he perhaps laying, blissful in the arms of his wife, sleeping off the strain of a night of unbridled passion? Nope. Is he maybe sitting at the computer, thinking about what he’s going to do on MUSH or blog or somewhere out in the information highway? Unh uh. Nope, he’s at a goddamned meeting? Why is he at a meeting? Why of course! Because he JUST HAD A MEETING 4 DAYS AGO. The meeting in Tallahassee, an hour and a half to 2 hour drive away that lasted for three hours. So why, you ask, does he have a second meeting this week? But of course! It’s to GO OVER THE INFORMATION COVERED IN THE /FIRST/ MEETING! Wow. Yet another reason why stock prices are dropping. Paying employees for redundant meetings. Even though we’re not selling anything because the mall won’t be open yet – Which completely fucks our commission rate. They have to pay us for that time, which causes prices to rise in the store (as if they weren’t fuckin’ high enough already) and in turn causes stock value to plummet. Pretty soon the leaders of Radioshack will be panhandling out on the interstate. Please, if any of you see Len Roberts standing in the median with his hand out, stop and ask him if he has any fucking adapters.

And they wonder why the company is sucking.

Till next time.

This ends up being the point where I do most of my rambling. Sometimes it's good, most times it's not. As far as I go, I'm a 30-something husband, father, friend, geek...everything else you want to know about me and everything else you don't is contained right here in these pages. ~Swift
